Clouds, Earth's Layers, and Soil Layers: A Science Flip Book Bundle
If you've got a clouds, earth science, or soil unit coming up, I have three resources that might be exactly what you need: 3 Science Crafts & Flip Books - Layers of the Earth, Layers of Soil, and Clouds. Each of them are their very own 3D flip book craft!
What's Inside?
This bundle has three separate flip books:
Types of Clouds covers the four basic cloud types, cirrus, stratus, cumulus, and cumulonimbus. Students can either fill in the cloud description of the cloud name, you can choose which version you want them to complete!

Layers of the Earth walks students through the crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core. Same format, you can have students fill in the layer name or the layer description.

Layers of Soil breaks down hummus, topsoil, subsoil, parent material, and bedrock. Once again, students fill in the layer name or the layer description.

All three activities make their own little flip book that students can hold onto, flip through, and actually use to study later. Plus, they double as a super cute display for your classroom or hallway!
Here Are Some Ideas on Using These in Your Classroom!
Use Them Right After You Introduce New Vocabulary
These work great as a review activity once you've taught the concepts. Students pull from what they already know instead of researching from scratch, so it's a great way to check understanding.
Save Them for a Sub Day or a Day You Just Don't Have Time to Plan
Since each flip book comes together with simple, clear steps, they're perfect for those days you need a grab-and-go plan. Just print, hand out, and let students work on it!
Hand Them Out Before a Quiz or Test
Once the flip book is finished, it doubles as a built-in study guide. Students can flip through their own work to review before an assessment instead of digging through old notes.
Keep a Few on Hand for Early Finishers or Centers
Print out some sets so students can make a book if they finish their other work early. Instead of just letting them play a game or read a book, let them create this little review!
Display Them Around the Room
Once they're done, these make such a cute bulletin board or hallway display! It's a nice way to show off student work while reviewing the content.
Whichever topic you're teaching first, clouds, earth's layers, or soil, this bundle has you covered. You can grab it here!
