So... these small group collaborative colorings. How do you use them and what is the purpose of them? Well let's start with the purpose. So we have the BIG collaborative colorings, so why do we need the small ones. Well when you work with small groups it is important to build a little community within that group. That is what these do. Students have to solve problems in order to discover the coloring code. Once they do that they get to color in their block. Between that small little group each student colors in a piece OR two, and it makes ONE picture! I like to think of it as every student is a "piece" of the picture!
What if I have a big group and a small group?
Don't worry I thought of that:) I designed these so they can be done with both big and small groups. In the one activity there are TWO options. The first option is a 4 piece coloring and the second option is a 9 piece coloring. So if you have anywhere from 2-9 students, this WILL WORK for you!
What types of questions can I put in?

So there are two types that you can get. I have some options available for you. You can either get the editable version (which is what you see here) or you can get ones with questions already inputted. I have

some with counting coins, addition, subtraction, division, and some others! The editable ones you can put Whatever you want in! All you have to do is follow the directions I supply to you and put your questions in and put the answer next to the correct color (don't worry it is simple). This is an exaple of what one would like with questions that I input!
Now all there is left to do is USE it!
I hope you love these as much as I do!
Happy Teaching!
