How to use Mystery Coloring Task Card Activities

Okay let's start here. Often times students just complete worksheets during math class. Now that doesn't sound very fun... it might be easy for us as the teachers to just hand out worksheets, but it does not making learning fun. So let's change that! That is why I created mystery coloring task card activities! Now let's learn all about it!

What is included in the set?

In each set you will receive 16 task cards with the key to the coloring code. To go along with those task cards you will receive a recording sheet/coloring page, as well as an answer key. That's not all! You will also get 16 task cards WITHOUT the coloring key and a recording sheet WITHOUT coloring! This just allows you to choose whether ot not you want to use the coloring portion.

How do I use this in MY classroom?

You have a couple different options.

1. Spread the 16 task cards around the classroom. Have students complete each task card and write the answer/color on the recording sheet. Once students have answere ALL the questions, they can color in the mystery coloring!

2. Use the task cards as a station in your classroom. As students rotate stations around the classroom they have to complete all the questions with the other students who are working at the task card station. Once

3. Work through the questions together as a class. Students fill out the recording sheet and then color in the mystery picture on their own!
