adventureswithalys1

Are you looking for a new way to get to know your students this school year? Well, I created a fantastic resource that will get your students excited and help them get to know eachother! It is the All-About-Me Mini Dodecahedron!

Why I Love This Craft:

This mini dodecahedron is more than just a craft; it's an icebreaker, a conversation starter, a game, and a beautiful piece of art. Each of the twelve faces features a unique prompt, encouraging students to share their favorite things, hobbies, goals, and even fun facts.

Here are some of the things I love about this craft:

  • Easy to Use: The download comes with clear instructions and pre-made templates, making it a breeze to set up even for a busy teacher like me.

  • Engaging Prompts: Students can express their creativity by drawing, writing, and coloring to showcase their personalities.

  • Versatility: This craft is perfect for students of all ages. Younger students can use simple drawings, while older students can write more detailed descriptions.

  • Beautiful Display: Once assembled, the mini dodecahedrons transform into stunning 3D representations of each student. These vibrant displays add a personal touch to the classroom and spark conversations among classmates.

What do I do with the Dodecahedrons after they are created?

  • Dodecahedron Roll and Tell: Students take turns rolling their dodecahedron and sharing the information on the face that lands up.

  • Dodecahedron Match: Shuffle all the dodecahedrons together. Students work in teams to match the dodecahedrons with their owners.

  • Dodecahedron Story: Students take turns rolling their dodecahedron and incorporating the information into a story. The story can be silly, serious, or a mix of both.

  • Dodecahedron Jumble: Student throw all their dodecahedrons up in the air, and they find a random one that landed by them. They have to study the dodecahedron to determine who it belongs to.

  • Dodecahedron Display: Have students display their craft around the classroom so their peers can get to know them!

Grab your mini dodecahedron now! Your students will love it, and all you have to do (after getting the activity😉) is hit print!

Happy Teaching!
